How to make a short film, research !!


Good morning and good evening! While i was researching about HOW to make a short film, the most solid piece of of advice was, don't write/plan what you don't have. If you can't voice good audio, try to make it limited audio or no audio. If you don't have the budget, don't do it. Another piece of advice was, working with your crew. This may sound obvious but it more so means working to the strengths of your crew, the actors and how far they can go, the filmer and what they are best at etc. Be nice to your crew, often they aren't doing it for money so it's best to be kind and accommodate your crew during set/filming. All of this has helped how we are going to write out, plan and working with the rest of the people in our group to try to achieve the best short film we can do. What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? Casting by, Costume Designer, VFX Supervisor, Edited by, Production Designer, Director of Photography, Music by, Co- Executive Producer, Produced by, Executive Producer, and then title screen.  What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? The images of the different curiosities as it is to entice you. Or make you wonder. Like weird scriptures and skeletons. There's also a lot of bookcases they zoom through and secret tunnels in a way. While they also look onto a skeleton key which is needed to unlock the door. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outside?  It shows weird items that give a hint of mystery. While also a creepy feeling as it goes deeper into this secret place. Moving through not only tunnels but tons of bookcases and shelves on the way. Not only making you understand the movie titles but wonder what those curiosities are in the first place.

Intro to myself!!

     Good morning and good evening! Hello, I am Alexandra Soto, I am a artist, though I mostly focus on sketches and as such a have many different favorite artists of all different types. My favorite music artist are Ricky Montgomery, The Living Tombstone and Mitski. Although for the last two I only listens to patches of albums. My favorite physical artist (painter) however is Alexandre Cabanel, as my favorite artwork of his is his 'Birth of  Venus.' My favorite animals are Blue Jays, Sunbirds, Long Tailed Tit, and mountain Bluebirds. With all those colors you'd think my favorite color is blue, but its not, its Naples yellow and wine red. I just turned 16 3 days ago, on the named, sweater day or December 3rd. I have 3 siblings. two older, one younger, two sisters, one brother.
